Georgy moved from Moscow to the mountains of Adygea, where he is restoring a village house and creating unusual wooden objects. Throughout his conscious life, the author has been doing things with his hands; he enjoyed it then and still enjoys it today. In the city Georgy felt constrained in expressing his creativity. After moving, he found a sense of fulfilment, synchronization with the wild nature, and gained access to genuine natural materials.
Georgy does not have a modern workshop, and he does not buy new wood from stores. He enjoys finding old boards that have been lying under snow, rain and sun for years. Each board has a rich history. The wood may have served as steps and windowsills in mountain houses, been forgotten as a material, and aged naturally, acquiring a unique texture. Giving this material a "second life" and creating a one-of-a-kind product is the author’s passion and purpose.
